Recovery Specialist

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Recovery Specialist to join our finance team. The Recovery Specialist will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recovery process for outstanding accounts, ensuring the timely resolution of payment issues, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. This role requires a problem solving mindset, excellent communication skills, and a customer-first approach.

Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Manage the collection of overdue payments from clients, ensuring prompt
      resolution of outstanding invoices.
    • Proactively engage with clients through calls, emails, and other communication channels to address payment delays or disputes.
    • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies related to outstanding payments, working closely with both the sales and finance teams.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards in all collection activities.
    • Maintain accurate records of communications, payment schedules, and recovery progress.
    • Negotiate and settle payment terms with clients, ensuring the best possible outcome for both Clodura and the client.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the smooth processing of payments and resolution of any issues.
    • Monitor and report on recovery progress, highlighting potential issues or risks to senior management.
    • Offer support and advice to clients on any payment-related inquiries or concerns.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in debt recovery, accounts receivable, or a similar role
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage challenging situations professionally
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with finance or accounting systems, CRM platforms, or other recovery tools
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Experience with AI-driven platforms or sales automation tools is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience working in a tech or SaaS (Software as a Service) company.
