A Place To Be

A Place To Be helps people with disabilities, medical and mental health struggles face, navigate and overcome lifes challenges using the clinically-based practices of music therapy and expressive arts therapy. Our Board-Certified therapists create individualized plans to achieve therapeutic goals and discover unrealized potential in a supportive, engaging and fun environment. Our programs include: One-on-One Therapy (30-minute or 50-minute sessions) Immersion (our innovative alternative day program) Social Groups (weekly boys and girls groups) Medical Music Therapy Same Sky Project (traveling group of performers who advocate for and promote messages of empathy, love, inclusion, acceptance) Summer Camps (including our popular and fully inclusive Pop Rocks and Musical Theater camps) A Place To Be is more than just our programs.
