A Silver Lining Foundation

In just a few short years, A Silver Lining Foundation has gained tremendous momentum not only in terms of dollars raised, but more importantly in terms of lives touched. Since our launch in 2002, weve provided over 450,000 people with information concerning cancer resource information, treatment options and support services. Through our BUY A MOM A MAMMOGRAMTM program 2,000 women have received information about and access to a cost free screening mammogram. Weve also created a one-of-a-kind partnership with 311, Chicagos City Services hotline, which connects callers with cancer-related questions and concerns to us. And were just getting started... Today, we face a real challenge as affordable healthcare continues to slip out of reach, swelling the ranks of the 47 million currently uninsured in our country.
