When AAR started operating in 1984, the primary business was evacuation of medical and accident casualties, both by road and air but today it is operates as a facility based health plan provider (FBHPP). It allows members to access services of the hospital, or a clinic for an agreed annual fee which comes with benefits. Its also noticeable that as an FBHPP we have had consistency in service delivery. Today we are the largest and most successful private healthcare company with a footprint in the East African region. We operate over twenty-one (21) health centres and clinics in the host countries of Uganda, Tanzania and Kenya, providing preventative, rescue, evacuation and curative health care services.
