ABIA STATE UNIVERSITY LAW CLINIC

The Law Clinic is a program providing hands-on-legal experience to law students and services to various clients. The Law Clinic do pro bono work in a particular area, providing free legal services to clients. The Clinical Legal Education originated as a method of practical teaching of law school students on the processes involved in the legal profession. Founded by Prof Ernest Ojukwu SAN in 2004, various Law Clinics has been constituted in different universities around Nigeria, of which Abia State University is one. We work with reputable bodies such as NULAI Nigeria, OSIWA, OSJI. Here at the ABIA STATE UNIVERSITY LAW CLINIC; 1. We render pro bono legal services to the indigent members of the society. 2. We play our role in enhancing access to justice to pre-trial detainees, while also imbibing the culture of the legal profession to the students.
