ACBAR

The Agency Coordinating Body for Afghan Relief & Development (ACBAR) is a distinguished and independent non-governmental organization that serves as a pivotal platform for information sharing and collaboration between national and international NGOs operating in Afghanistan. Representing a coalition of 203 member INGOs/NNGOs, ACBAR leverages its extensive 35+ years of contextual expertise within Afghanistan to address challenges, articulate perspectives and facilitate impactful service delivery to the populace. Established in 1988, in Peshawar, Pakistan, ACBAR was initially formed at the behest of NGOs engaged with Afghan refugees in Pakistan and across the border within Afghanistan, aiming to streamline humanitarian assistance and service provision.
