Action Volunteers Africa (AVA)

Action Volunteers Africa (AVA) is a registered NPO that offers South African unemployed Youth between the ages of 18 - 15 to get work experience as a Volunteer. The objective for them is to get the necessary confidence, experience, skills and network to find a real job afterwards. With a success rate of more than 90% this is a real Win-Win for both Volunteers as well as the NGOs that make use of these volunteers. The real winner however is the South African tax payer and society at large, as AVA has a proven track record combatting youth unemployment in South Africa, wich is currently at approx. 70%. AVA has proven to really work and therefore we can honestly claim we are: Proving Volunteering Works.
