Activities Beyond the Classroom

Activities Beyond the Classrooms mission is to ensure that Cincinnati Public Schools students participate in activities beyond the classroom that help them develop the skills they need to succeed in life. We provide the necessary support for every CPS student to engage in extracurricular activities throughout the year. ABC serves over 15,000 students each year. Activities Beyond the Classroom started in 2004 as a booster club for the athletic departments of Cincinnati Public Schools high schools, and has grown into a district-wide organization that provides more extracurricular and enrichment programs to CPS students than any other organization in the city. Throughout the years, ABC has continuously stepped up to the plate whenever support was needed for extracurricular activities, whether by expanding its partnership with CPS, adding new programs to the ABC portfolio, or offering guidance and fiscal sponsorship to outside programs.
