In 1996, a Benefits Mgr. of an employer in Washington State (16,000+ employees) called our founder. She wanted to create an employee home ownership program & transcend their existing benefits package in a way that would have a lifelong impact on their employees. She knew the true value of home ownership went beyond a way to create wealth. A home could provide a place to build memories, raise families, celebrate, create stability and a sense of pride within their communities. Its common knowledge homeowners are beneficial to a companys bottom line through lower turnover, less sick time, higher productivity & increased engagement, but her reasons were deeper & would ultimately help earn her emails of appreciation & a promotion to the C-Suite.
