The Advocacy and Mooting Society (AMS) is a nonprofit-making student organization under the Faculty of Law, the University of Hong Kong. The objectives of AMS are to arouse students interest in advocacy, and to assist them with the enhancement of their mooting skills. Since its establishment in 2002, AMS has organized various activities, most notably mooting competitions, so as to develop law students into future good advocates. Through these activities, the AMS introduces to law students the concept of mooting and the underlying techniques, and provides them with moot training sessions with feedback from experienced practitioners.
