AFII was founded in the year 1996 to provide Project Finance advisory services as also to manage group investments. In 2001 the firm was reorganised to provide Infrastructure and Real Estate financial advisory services. Under the leadership of Dr. Mahesh Gandhi, a co-founder and current CEO of the Group, AFII also developed and managed Structured Trade Finance Products for Public Sector Banks including SBI and SBoP as also advised Infra companies on equity and debt structures besides helping to raise global mezzanine finance for leveraging promoter positions.
