AfPay

Afghanistan Payments System (APS) was established in 2011 and later on, amalgamated into the Da Afghanistan Bank as its wholly owned subsidiary to operate as the National e-Payment Switch of Afghanistan. APS is mandated to develop secure, interoperable national payment infrastructure, serving the banks, MFIs, EMIs, PIs and FinTechs equally, and providing the required standardization to ensure all providers have a level playing field in actualizing a Less-Cash society.
