African Institute of Technology and Innovation (AITI) is focused on solving the challenges caused by Africas underdeveloped educational system by teaching tech courses to youths and walking them through the pathway to getting a quality job in tech. Even better, our solution is cost-effective and requires low internet, thereby combating the problems of expensive education and lack of access to the internet. Given the current trend in the labour market, university degrees are now insufficient to secure employment. Many graduates are underemployed as they have little or no choice than to take manual jobs for which they are overqualified. According to the World Bank, approximately 60 percent of Africas unemployed persons are youths, and many are resorting to crime, radicalization, or the often-perilous migration journey across the globe in search of greener pastures.
