African Jacquard

African Jacquard is a home textiles company who has been designing, weaving, and producing a range of African-inspired products, such as bed throws, cushions, table linen, towels and kitchen linen, in the heart of Cape Town, since 2014. Founded by French born owner and Creative Director, Christine Daron, African Jacquard marries her heritage of luxury French home linens woven in the style of Jacquard with the warm colours of Africa. Having travelled all over the Continent to countries such as Gabon, Congo, Angola, Burkina Faso, and now residing in South Africa, Christines love for traditional African textiles together with her first-hand experience in these different design cultures is apparent in the patterns and designs created at African Jacquard. We use traditional French Jacquard looms and weave with natural fibres.
