Agri Eastern Cape

Agri Eastern Cape was established in 2001 and is the voice of the farmer in the province. Formerly known as the Eastern Province Agricultural Union, Agri EC today represents more than 3 000 members and affiliated organisations. Its vision is to develop and grow the agricultural industry as a sustainable economic sector by promoting agricultural business interests, influencing government policy formulation and providing value-added services to its members. The organisation supports agri-tourism as a means of contributing to the sustainability of emerging and commercial farms. By offering value-added tourism and hospitality services such as accommodation, farm stalls, 44 routes, mountain biking, hiking and hunting, farmers are able to establish a meaningful connection with the public.
