Agua Para La Vida

Agua Para La Vida accompanies the rural communities of Nicaragua in the design, construction and maintenance of drinking water and sanitation systems. With more than 30 years of experience in the sector and with more than 96 projects implemented in 23 municipalities in Nicaragua, APLV has developed technical knowledge adapted to rural communities. We focus on responding to local needs, building local capacity, and supporting community organization, all with the goal of empowering community members. Each project is designed and implemented with the active and ongoing participation of the beneficiaries in each phase of the project. Community members make a financial contribution and participate in the facilities constructions. APLV provides technical training through its Drinking Water Technical School (ETAP).
