Alatas Architecture & Consulting was founded in 1996 by Ahmet Alatas in Vienna. After winning their first prize with a competition project which was the school building of the Izmir American College, the office was moved to Istanbul by Alatas in 2001. Emre Acar, who has been in Ahmet Alatass team since 2006, worked as an AP at Alatas Architecture & Consulting between 2010 and 2015.
