Air America Flight Center is a woman-owned small business based in Daytona Beach, Florida, at the Daytona Beach International Airport (KDAB). Air America has specialized in providing rental aircraft for personal use and part 61 flight training since 2004. While part 61 flight training is not curriculum-driven and is not inherently institutionalized, Air America retains a pool of independently contracted certified flight instructors who provide flight training in our aircraft. The Daytona Beach facility also has classroom space available to these contractors for ground-based training exercises. In addition to consumer aircraft rentals, Air America has transitioned a substantial part of the fleet into aerial imaging and photogrammetric services. Air America currently boasts a fleet of 40+ aircraft and 50+ pilots, divided as needed between the flight training facility and imaging contracts.
