2016 marked the 35th year in the life of Michigan-based Al Dente Pasta Company, a pioneer in Americas specialty food industry. Located near Ann Arbor, Michigan in the quaint town of Whitmore Lake, it is a true family business run by the husband and wife team of Monique and Dennis Deschaine along with 18 long time employees. Monique learned her pasta making technique back in 1981 from none other than Marcella Hazan.
