Established in 1998, Al Anwar Ceramics Tile Company SAOG is the first manufacturer of ceramic tiles in the Sultanate of Oman. The company started manufacturing ceramic tiles under the brand name Al Shams. The company is listed on the Oman stock market. Based in Nizwa, the plant is well equipped with the state-of-the-art machinery and technical know-how of leading Italian companies with digital printing machines. In the last 20 years, Al Anwar commenced its journey with a single production line with a capacity of 6000 SQM per day to five production lines with a total installed capacity of 55,000 SQM per day. The Company has the largest Third Firing unit of its kind in the region producing listellos, decors and skirtings, as well as pencils and molded borders.
