The Reorganization and Privatization of the water and electricity sector in the emirate of Abu Dhabi, under Law No. 2 of 1998, resulted in the establishment of Al Wathba Company for Central Services (AWCCS) in the same year. AWCCS, a fully owned subsidiary of Abu-Dhabi Water & Electricity Authority (ADWEA), commenced business in 1999 by providing exclusive Fleet and HVAC related services to ADWEA.
