Architecture studio AL_A was founded in 2009 by the RIBA Stirling Prize-winning architect Amanda Levete with directors Ho-Yin Ng, Alice Dietsch and Maximiliano Arrocet. The diversity of our leadership team brings a richness of thinking and possibility that is played out in our culture, our practice and through our designs. The directors work together as a team of equals on every project, whatever its scale, combining conceptual flair with technical excellence. Our designs are conceived not just as buildings, but as urban propositions. Spaces that promote reciprocity between nature and neighbourhood; projects that express the identity of an institution, reflect the ambitions of a place, and hold the dreams of a community.
