Alachua Conservation Trust (ACT) is an accredited land trust that has been to protecting the natural, historic, scenic and recreational resources in and around North Central Florida since 1988. ACT protects land through purchase, donation, and conservation easements primarily in 22 counties. For 36 years, ACT has been instrumental to facilitating the conservation of over 59,500 acres of Florida land. This includes the direct purchase and protection of over 26,500 acres.
