Alatus Capital is an institutional investment manager based in Geneva, Switzerland. Founded in 2007, Alatus focus is on long-term capital preservation and appreciation via investments in International public equities, with a focus on Europe. Alatus invests in a concentrated, high-conviction portfolio of ~15 positions with an investment horizon of 3-5 years, and potentially longer. A disciplined, bottom-up, free-cash-flow based approach to securities valuation and selection is applied, and combined with Private Equity-like independent market research and competitive analysis. Portfolio companies generate strong, visible and growing free cash flow, and enjoy sustainable barriers to entry to value added niches, leading to high and defensible returns on capital. We enter positions at attractive equity FCF yields, and seek to identify upcoming inflections in FCF to achieve significant capital appreciation.
