The Department of Chemistry, established in 2008, focuses on innovative and active teaching environment along with involvement in dynamic areas of research. The main objective is to make students understand the versatile nature of chemistry and be able to coalesce it with other disciplines to have a wider view of the subject. The degrees offered by the department are M.Sc Chemistry and PhD. programme in both core and interdisciplinary research areas.
