Alexandra District Health

Alexandra District Health is located in picturesque Alexandra, Victoria, between Yea and Eildon within the Shire of Murrindindi approximately 125km North East of Melbourne. Our modern facilities were purpose-built in 2011 and we are fully accredited by the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards. We deliver a broad range of health care, providing inpatient care for both medical and surgical patients. Day and overnight surgical services are supported by visiting specialist surgeons and specialist anaesthetists. Our 3 cubicle Urgent Care Centre is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year by Registered Nurses. Visiting General Practitioners (GPs) are on call. Outpatient services include specialist medical consulting, radiology, ultrasound, pathology, district nursing, and a wide range of Primary Health services including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, dietetics, speech therapy, counselling and social work
