They Laughed when I said I wanted to do importing in China... About 10 years ago, I came to China and partnered with a Chinese woman who I previously had known and trusted. We had both done work with the same company in China. Together we started a sourcing company. She looked after the China side of things (sourcing, finding the right factories, then paying & negotiating with them) and I looked after my side of things (meeting & finding clients in my own country, getting payments from them, and making sure they are happy with their goods).
