Allehanda Media

September 2006 saw the formation of Allehanda Media Angermanland AB. Having acted as two self-sufficient newspaper companies, Tidningen Angermanland AB in Adalen and AB Allehanda in Ornskoldsvik merged. The benefits of a single company are mainly editorial; by coordinating sports and news coverage, we can offer readers more pages and broader content. Obviously, it also means economical advantages to coordinate various administrative functions. With this new company, we want to increase interaction with our readers, secure the issuing of two local newspapers, and most of all create resources to develop new media with an apparent local connection to the region. In Allehanda Media we have united Tidningen Angermanland, Ornskoldsviks Allehanda, web service www.allehanda.se and Rix FM 107,1 Ornskoldsvik.
