Almeer Trading was founded in 1952 when the initial business partnership between the late Mr Jalal Almeer and Mr Abdulrahman Almeer began with importing sanitary ware, tiles, and other building materials to support the infrastructural development of the Kingdom of Bahrain during the 1950s. The business started with an office and showroom in the Manama Souq, which was considered the main business hub. In the early seventies of the last century, the great boom in oil prices which was coinciding with the independence of Bahrain led to substantial growth and development in the constructions sector which resulted in more demand for building materials and building equipment, hence Ameer Trading played a major role in covering the needs of the market by providing suitable solutions for every era for more than 70 years.
