Alonuko, founded by British born, Nigerian Oluwagbemisola Okunlola is a Womens fashion brand which focuses on creating iconic pieces, that introduce every woman in their best self. Established in 2012, Alonuko is limitless when it comes to its source of inspiration. From World affairs, experiences during travel to dreams that initiate foundations for creative exploration, Gbemi expresses much of her perspective of life through design and presents it to the world through fashion. Oluwagbemisola Okunlola was born on 17th August 1994, and raised in London by both parents amongst her four siblings. Okunlola, commonly known as Gbemi, recognised her creative flair, love for fashion and meticulous eye for detail at a very early age, and by 11, after growing up watching her mum create beautiful gowns for clients, followed in her footsteps and with one of the machines in a corner of the house, taught herself to sew.
