Alsumaria TV

Alsumaria is an independent Iraqi Satellite TV Network that transmits on Nilesat, Hotbird, and Noorsat/Eurobird. Established by a group of professional businessmen in 2004, it assembles today a highly skilled team of more than 700 employees across Iraq, Lebanon, United Arab Emirates and Jordan. Alsumaria TV embraces a moderate speech for One Iraq that stands at an equal distance from all Iraqis and believes that Iraqi diversity would only lead towards peaceful coexistence and power rotation. Through its programs and news bulletins, the network continuously strives to promote democracy, freedom as well as political and economic openness. It adopts a Liberal perspective whilst maintaining religious faith and strongly refuting repression and autocracy.
