Amal for Education

Amal for Education is an Italian NGO, registered in Rome (Italy) and operating internationally, focused on educational and cultural projects for refugees and people in conflict areas (www.amaleducation.net). Amal for Education was founded in 2014 by Isabella Chiari. Its activities are based in Turkey, Lebanon and Syria and also in Italy in response to the current refugee crisis. Amal for Education is focused both on providing basic support to families with supplies distributions, child sponsorships and rent support to refugees, but is mainly focused on the support and development of educational projects, educational materials and providing opportunities to refugees for formal and non formal education, as well as child protection activities.
