Amala Cancer Research Centre

Amala Cancer Research Centre Societyis an independent research organization registered in 1984 under the Travancore-Cochin Literary, Scientific and Charitable Societies Act, 1955 with the aim to undertake scientific research in the area of cancer and other related branches of medical sciences both basic and applied fields. The Centre has been recognized by Dept. of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR). The Society has approval under 35(1) (ii) of the Income Tax Act, 1961. The Centre has well equipped laboratories for Biochemistry, Molecular biology, Immunology, Radiobiology and Microbiology to carry out outstanding research works in cancer.
