ACI is a co-educational secondary institution with boarding facilities and day options for students. The college which is approved by the government was established to develop students academically, morally and to make them socially adaptable. In particular, the college places emphasis on excellent performance in every sphere of life, and the management strives to inculcate this orientation into the students. Also, the college places premium on students academic excellence in the two tiers of certificate examinations as specified in the National Policy on Education; that is, Junior Secondary School Certificate Examination (JSCE) and Senior Secondary School Certification Examination (SSCE).
