American Corner Sylhet opened in January 2004 at Sylhet International University. The American Corner provides basic reference materials on the United States, Internet terminals, video viewing facilities, and English-language tapes, as well as a growing section of guidebooks for students wanting to study at American universities. American Corners are information resource and outreach centers of the American Center of the U.S. Embassy.
