Americas Kids Belong

Americas Kids Belong is dramatically improving experiences and outcomes for kids in foster care. We focus in three areas: 1 - Recruit and retain more foster and adoptive parents to ensure a family for every child. 2 - Equip communities, businesses and faith communities to become Foster Friendly to ensure a Foster Friendly community for every family. 3 - Create coalitions for change across government, business and faith to bring hope to every community. Imagine being a young child whisked out of your home by strangers. Its a traumatizing reality for 400,000+ kids in the U.S. foster care system. With just half the needed foster homes, children get shuffled from placement to placement, made to feel like they dont belong. And for the 26,000 kids who age out without a family, outcomes are dire.
