Amotai has three main roles: We connect clients and buyers to Maori and Pasifika businesses; Amotai connects and matches public sector, private sector, iwi and non-government clients and buyers with Maori and/or Pasifika-owned suppliers. This is known as business-to-business (B2B) procurement. We build demand-side and supply-side capabilities; Successful supplier diversity and development requires that both the demand-side and the supply-side are ready and able to do this well. We provide practical advice and support to clients and buyers and Maori and Pasifika businesses. We promote supply chain diversity and development; Amotai also promotes and influences supplier diversity and development across Aotearoa. We play an important role in telling the story of supplier diversity and its benefits for clients and buyers, Maori and Pasifika economies and NZ Inc.
