AMZ Racing

The Academic Motorsport Club Zurich (AMZ) was founded in 2006 by students from ETH Zurich and annually develops a prototype for various Formula Student competitions in Europe. After three vehicles with internal combustion engines, the AMZ has been building purely electrically powered racing cars since 2010. The association is financially independent and is supported by numerous financial, manufacturing and property sponsors as well as institutes from various Swiss universities. The AMZ is one of four Swiss team in the Formula Student. The association offers students a platform to apply the engineering knowledge they have acquired in theory to a practical example of a highly complex product.
