Anjuman Islam

Vision Anjuman-I-Islam strives to develop a world class education system, in conformity with national policies, which embodies a culture of excellence and empowers Muslims and fellow citizens to contribute to a prosperous and strong nation and face the challenges of the changing times with confidence and strength of character. The Founders of Anjuman-I-Islam were pioneers of education in the country. As far back as 1880, Anjuman-I-Islam had presented a Memorandum to the Indian Education Commission emphasizing the need for: vocational, industrial, commercial and agricultural education; the importance of physical education; and education for girls. This Memorandum formed the basis of the Education Policy of then British Government. This vision of the Founders has been adhered to through the decades.
