Annapoorna

Annapoorna is the coming together of like-minded individuals and organisations with the common objective to ensure that no child goes to school hungry ever! It is therefore our constant endeavour to serve nutritious, well-balanced breakfast to all school-going children in rural India. We also strive towards their holistic development by actively engaging with the children in after-school activities and partnering with their school authorities to integrate an ethos of academic as well as human excellence. We hope to enable rural uplift and transformation by focusing on education, healthcare, drinking water and sanitation needs of the villages, making them models of sustainable growth and development. To oversee all the activities and obligations, we set up the Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust in November 2015. It is a charitable trust, headquartered in Sathya Sai Grama, Muddenahalli, Chikkaballapur District of Karnataka, India
