Established in 1992 Apex Drilling Services Limited was formed to deliver mineral exploration within the coalfields of South Wales. Following the demise of coal exploration during the mid 90s Apex diversified into specialist sectors of the drilling industry including geothermal, water wells, contamination drilling, coal bed methane and ground investigation to name but a few. Currently employing > 50 employees operating 25 rigs nationwide within a variety of disciplines Apex is at the forefront of todays drilling industry and is the select contractor for the major mining houses, environmental consultants, geotechnical consultants and civil engineering companies throughout the United Kingdom. The drilling fleet is diverse in size, weight and flushing media allowing Apex to adapt to varying site surface and ground conditions with tracked machines possessing the ability to set up on sloping ground.
