APM Terminals Maasvlakte II B.V

APM Terminals MVII has been in operation since April 2015 and is the worlds most technologically advanced container terminal. The terminal has an annual capacity of 2.7 million TEU. With a 1,000-metre-long quay and a harbour depth of 20 metres, the port can accommodate the handling of the largest container ships in the world. The rail terminal currently consists of four tracks, but will be expanded to eight tracks in the future. This rail terminal also has a direct connection to the Betuwe route, a 160-kilometre stretch of dual-rail, electric freight railway line that connects the Port of Rotterdam with the German border at Zevenaar-Emmerich. APM Terminals MVII has a 500-metre-long inland quay and is therefore in an excellent position to serve the European network of inland waterways.
