Applied Aquatic Research Ltd. (AAR) was incorporated in Alberta in 1996 and has provided aquatic resource inventory and mitigation planning support to industry, municipalities, and private landowners/developers throughout western Canada for over 20 years. Over the past decade, AARs scope has expanded to include a diverse suite of environmental expertise. In 2014, AAR formally opened AAR Environmental Services (AARES), a multidisciplinary environmental consulting division of AAR, based in Calgary. AARES was formed to provide the broad range of environmental disciplines required to better serve our clients.
