Apsley Farms is a family-run farm based in Hampshire utilising the latest technologies to produce low carbon products. In 2012 the family took the decision to build an Anaerobic digestion plant, turning arable crops into electricity. By 2014 they had realised that they could turn the biogas being made into biomethane, and with a suitable pipeline within their fields they would be able to supply southern England with green electricity (renewable natural gas) This equates to 8,500 houses of gas all year round.
