Empowering learners as leaders of change Aqaba International School was established by Aqaba Development Corporation in 2005 as key social/investment enabling project. AIS is located in a residential area of Aqaba, a Jordanian port city on the Red Seas Gulf of Aqaba, its beach resorts are popular for windsurfing and other water sports, and the area is a top destination for scuba divers. Since 2015 AIS is operated by Mashrek International School, an IB world school.
