A PASSION FOR AQUATIC PLANTS SINCE 1965 Aquaflora is a pioneer in the field of aquatic plants. The company arose from the hobby of the founder Dick Mous and specialized in growing and trading aquarium and pond plants for over 55 years. Dick Mous was a passionate nature lover and for many years he travelled the world to find new plants. In these 5 decades Aquaflora has developed into a leading company in Europe as well as worldwide. In 1996 Aquaflora was taken over by Esther Mous, the daughter of Dick.Mous, and Frank Riechelman, his former right hand. Historically Aquaflora was a company that supplied aquarium plants exclusively to wholesale companies and colleague growers. Most plants were sold unbranded. Later distributors were added to represent the Aquaflora brand in a certain country or area and since 10 years Aquaflora also supplies to retail stores directly.
