Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund (ASB) South and South-East Asia

Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund (ASB) is a German relief and social welfare organisation engaged in various social service provisions in Germany and internationally. We started working in Indonesia in 2006 following the Yogyakarta earthquake and in the Philippines in 2014 following Typhoon Haiyan. In the process, we have expanded our work to Bangladesh, Nepal, and Bhutan. Now, we are serving as ASB Regional Office for South and South-East Asia which is addressed in Yogyakarta. We are also a founding member of the Disability-inclusive Disaster Risk Reduction Network (DiDRRN), leading collective efforts to influence inclusion and disaster management in regional and global policy
