ARIESPACE is a small-sized enterprise (SME), established in the year 2006 as the first spin-off company of the University of Naples Federico II. ARIESPACE provides ready-to-use and user-friendly Decision Support Systems (DSS) based on satellite observations, geospatial data and biophysical models. Our aim is to feel the gap between currently availability geospatial tools and quantitative information needed to people working in field. The experience to carry out our tasks has been developed and applied in different contexts. For instance, we developed an operative processing chain to estimate crop water requirements and a web-tool dedicated to farmers, associations and water authorities in the context of the IRRISAT project (http://www.irrisat.i).
