Aristotle Space & Aeronautics Team (ASAT)

A.S.A.T. (Aristotle Space and Aeronautics Team) was founded in November 2015 by a group of Mechanical Engineering students. Since its first steps, A.S.A.T. has been supported by the Laboratory of Fluid Mechanics & Turbomachinery of AUThs Mechanical Engineering Department, under which it operates. ur team has grown and now is the largest technical team of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh). It consists of students from different academic backgrounds, ranging from polytechnic to economics-related fields of study. We are currently focused on 2 technical projects - Aeronautics and Rocketry. The Aeronautics Project was established in 2015 aiming at designing and constructing Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), eligible for participating in the global competition Air Cargo Challenge (A.C.C.).
