Armageddon Expo

Armageddon expo is a New Zealand owned commercial science fiction and comics convention held in New Zealand in various cities. Including Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Tauranga, the company has been running for 25 years. In recent years, it has evolved from a comic and trading card event in 1995 to showcase computer and video gaming, animation, and consumer electronics, alongside comics, wrestling, merchandise and a growing creative community in New Zealand. The convention hosts celebrity guests from popular movies, TV shows and computer games, who give panels, met and greet the public and provide a unique atmosphere at each event. The New Zealand cosplay community is also actively participating in most of the Armageddon events. The event is a mixture of computer gaming, music, anime, sci-fi, fantasy, comics and stalls.
